Hi my birthday was just last Saturday. I thought you still get VMK birthday pins but apparently I checked to see if I got one, and there was none. Do they still give those out because my friend got 1 for her birthday.

There is a VMK birthday pin, but it was released last July for one day I think, and I'm thinking it was either given to all characters or was a prize from a Q button quest. It celebrated VMK's birthday, not that of a player's (it's got a cake on it that's mostly yellow). As far as I know, there is no pin given out for a player's birthday, and I've been playing since November of 2005. Hope this helps.

The VMK birthday pin was a quest prize. It was a very difficult quest to win, which makes it that much harder to trade for. It was last May, I believe.
If your friend received a pin for their birthday, it was probably a gift from another player, as a lot of players will gift pins to people on their birthdays.
