VM arrived just in time!

We're getting ready to leave for D.C. with 250 of our closest friends on 5 chartered busses to watch DH's band march in the parade scheduled around the opening of the WWII Memorial. VM arrived today and I thought that long ride to D.C. would be a great time to read it from cover to cover and get hyped for our scheduled trip in about two weeks to VWL. There is still the possibility that our trip to WDW will be cancelled due to an ill family member, so I may take the Vacation Planner along with me to think of all the ways to possibly spend 823 points in a holding account!!!!!! I wonder what other DVC therapy I can engage in to block out a bus load of high schoolers? Seriously though, keep us in your prayers for a safe trip to our nation's capitol. It's a scary time to be there.

A big welcome to our first home in the nation's capital. Washington, DC is a lovely place to visit, and I know that lots of folks here are very excited to welcome all of the bands coming in for the opening of the WWII Memorial. Congtratulations to your DH's band for being asked to participate, and good luck with your upcoming trip to our second home at VWL!

Grace, DBF and I will be heading down tomorrow with Rolling Thunder. We will be at the parade on Sunday.
