Hi! I know some of you are DIY brides and I have read about others usuing vistaprint for wedding related items.

I got this in my inbox today and thought I would share.

http://www.vistaprint.com/qs/freesampleswithshippingdisclaimer.aspx

You just have to pay shipping, which is fairly reasonable.

Included in this deal:

250 Business Cards.... I used these to make escort cards (place settings) I printed them with a place for guests name and table number and am going to set up a tray of sand, then stand these up in the sand. On a seperate order I used the business cards for favor tags. You get 250, so obviously will have many left over.

140 Return Address Labels.... Who can't use address labels?

Free Rubber Stamp.... I had one of these made up before I moved. It was cute, but the rubber stamp is so small. I'm thinking it was about .5" by 1.5". I was going to use them to stamp the back of the envelope. Since we moved, I have not had another made up.

10 Invitations... I went a different route through vistaprint for my invitations (will explain later) but I figured some of you Disney brides might be able to use this.

100 Standard Postcards... I have used these for so many things. First I made my Save the Date cards. Then I shared an order with my cousin and made her some save the date cards. I also used them for Response Cards. You could also use them for Direction cards, Thank You cards (if you don't mind that they are postcards) Information, Transportation schedule... the list really goes on.

Sticky Notes... I didn't order these, but I am sure someone can figure out a use for them.

25 Small Business Magnets... These would be great to make Save the Date Magnets. I ordered some just to have some magnets. They are very thin magnets and aren't good to hold a paper onto the fridge, but they do work as magnets.

Note Pad... I didn't order these, but I am sure someone can figure out a use for them.

T-shirt... I ordered all my bachelorette party t-shirts through them. The white shirts are just a bit on the thin side but the printing was great. I also ordered black shirts for the guys bachelor party and they turned out fabulous! I didn't get them with the free deal, but they were $4.74 each for white and somewhere around $10 for the black.

25 free Checks... I didn't order these, but I am sure someone can figure out a use for them.

Free Keychain... I did order one of these with a caricature of my daughters. Really cute.

So hopefully you guys can use some of this stuff!

I had used the oversize postcards for my wedding invitations and also menus. They are not free with this sale, but I am going to see if I can find you the link to get those for free as well.

Oh I forgot to add, you can have up to 10 FREE items per order! Just pay shipping.

Oh and you cant switch codes. So if you go with that link... and you also want the oversized postcards, you can go through that link, or your items might not all be free.

Oh thought I would mention, the postcards have a glossy finish on the front side. The business cards have a matte finish, but I think you can pay for glossy. Other items will have an option of gloosy/matte.

When I created my response cards, I made the "return address" part on the front "glossy side" because an ink pen doesn't write on the glossy part very well.

Also, I don't have my invitations finished just yet, but I am planning to put vellum over the top, with a printed monogram. Then at the top (where it is bare) I am going to attach the vellum to the invitation with a black ribbon.

I am still looking for cheap 70 lb envelopes.

I used Vista print for our rehearsal menus/Thanks you's for Ohana's that I placed on the table for everyone. They came out great.

They are also awesome for moving announcements & christmas cards. I use they every year. So affordable & easy to use.

I love vistaprint and use them alot. I have found a new sit though you should check out. It's called gotprint.com. The prices are cheaper, but they don't have as quick of shipping. If you're a planner and a saver, you might like this site better.

I use both!:)

Here are our menues for Ohana from Vista Print

Just thought I would add to this thread. I love VISTA and I also use another website for great wedding gifts www.personalizationmall.com (They have such cute doormats, grilling stuff, popcorn bowls, cutting boards... anything you can think of!) :yay:

Personalization mall.com just added stationery even cute personalized recipe cards. I think it might be cute for bridal showers. They gave me a a coupon code for 20% off stationary. STATIONERY954

Hope this helps someone!

does anyone know if the free items from vistaprint are 1 per household or per email address?

The free items are 10 per order.

Altogether I have made about 5 orders from them since February. The first order I didn't realize I could get up to 10 items, but in the next orders I filled up.

You do have to pay shipping which gets higher as you add free items, but not too bad. (usually within $1)
