Vistana Vs Grand Vista!

please vote - we have been to neither; for some reason, gv sounds nicer; proximity to WDW better w/Vistana - plus it has restaurants; concerned may be put in 'bad' bldg at vistana tho - 2 kids in middle school - not sure if either has better pool - which would you stay in beg of Sept?? most our time will prob be at WDW...making reservation tonite!

IMHO you can get a bad room at either location. We were lucky at both our visits at MGV and VR to get a nice room - both 2 BR.
VR has more pools than MGV - so that is a plus. I haven't seen the new pool at MGV so I can't comment on that. MGV older pool is more scenic but the pools at VR are more "swimable."

If most of your time will be spent at WDW, you will like the location at the VR better than the MGV. It's much closer.

We enjoyed both resorts and would not hesitate to return to either. I think given the ages of your kids you would like the VR better.
