Just wondering what are the pools like? Is there zero-depth entry and is there built in water cannons and squirt things like at Holiday in Family Suites? Are they heated and what section do you reccommend? Thanks

hi,

the big pool is heated complete with waterfall flowing into it. You can swim under it, or get out of the pool and jump thru it. This was my kids favorite thing to do. This pool is much wider and longer than the one at HIFS.

Regarding the kiddie pool. It's on the end near the playground area. It has water squirty fountain things that shoot up from the floor and it surrounded by water about a foot or so deep. I layed on my elbows and belly while my DS4 played in this area for awhile.

There is volleyball set up in the pool on the opposite side.

We had a fantastic time at this resort and in the pool. You can bring your own floats or RENT one for like $5.00 per 1/2 hour

p.s. forgot to add there is also a "quiet pool" heated, for adults only behind the main pool. Bathrooms are very close by as well.,

The large pool is zero-depth entry into the over-sized shallow area that is roped off and serves as the "kiddie pool". The pool area is very attractive. I was not aware that the upper pool is an adult only pool, I thought that it was just designated a "quiet pool" ie., no floats, toys, or ball playing. When we were there in late January for 10 nights the upper pool was a bit warmer than the large one.

The upper pool is only a "quiet pool" where there are to be no toys or floaties however this rule is really left to parents to enforce. The upper pool is considerably warmer than the large pool and the hot tub is just that - hot. On the day that I got a little more sun than I should have, the hot tub finished off the cooking process.
