Hello all!
I have a question about the Vistana again. We are going Sept 8-15. I have **heard** via this board that there are organized things for the kids to do. My DS is 4 1/2--are there things he can do? Also--do the parents have to supervise these kid organized events?
We are basically wanting a night out---I know that the Disney resorts have in-house clubhouse type things for kids and (for a fee) will watch the kids so adults can do something...but didn't know if the Vistana had anything like that. All replies would be appreciated!

The times we've been at Vistana, whether the activities happened or not was sort of hit or miss depending upon whether children showed up. (And that was in the summer with far more families.) We did "strongly urge" our DD at age 5 or 6 to go to the kid's night out, because we wanted to have an adult evening, but there were only a few kids and she had a miserable time. The cost was comparable to the Neverland Club at the Poly, and she had a much better time there. If you want an adult evening onsite, one of the Disney facilities is more predictable.

They do have the Kids Discover activity programs as well as Jungle Fun Kids Club. I don't use the clubs anymore since my kids are teens, but I did in the past. We were happy with the program in the past, not sure how it is as of recent years though. I think the last time I used it was in 2000. You can contact Vistana directly for more info.
