Vista Way bedroom - bed in window?

Hi everyone! Admittedly I feel dumb for posting this, but I figured I'd see if anyone could help. I just got here for the college program and got assigned Vista Way, and my bed is right in the corner where two huge windows are. There are blinds, but there are blaring street lamps right outside my window, and when you turn the lights off, it feels as though the light may as well still be on. I know I'm not allowed to hang anything, but does anybody know what I can do about it (if anything)? Thanks for any replies, I know this is kind of a frivolous thing to post here!

I had that problem too. I just got a sleeping mask & that helped me. Good luck!

Other than the sleep mask (which makes a huge difference lol) you could do curtains. You would need to get a tension curtain rod so you don't damage the wall. It kind of goes in the window like a shower curtain rod does. If you don't think it will work with how your blinds are set up I have another idea but will only work if you are allowed to use command strips (which I've heard mixed answers on)

I had an apartment like this and did curtains to solve it then, but the window already had a curtain rod so I knew it was no issue.

If the window has a big enough sill if you can't hang curtains you could get a poster or something like that and back it with cardboard to put in the window at night to block alot of the light.

A quick fix I used when i had the two window bed was just took a towel wedged it into place at the top and let it hang down like a curtain until a more permanent solution could be found.
