visitors at marriott grande vista

We will be staying at the Marriott Grande Vista resort the end of this month. We would like to have some friends who are staying with relatives come over a few evenings and let their kids play at the pool with our kids. Does anyone know if this is allowed or if they check cars at the entrance? Do we need a visitors pass? Any help with this would be great.

they do have a security guard to check people entering the resort.

but just tell them and the front desk - that you will have guests.
