Hi All -
I am so excited about our first stay at BWV coming up.

My family of 4 and my parents have a 2 bedroom rented for 5 nights. One day my cousin and his family will be joining us - probably from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm one day.

Can anyone tell me what to do to register them and if they can use the pool. I looked on the DVC member website but could not find any information on visitors so I'm calling on the experts here!

Thanks - Karolyn

I don't think you have to register them in any way if they are just visiting you. I don't think they can use the pool though. Maybe someone else can help with that question, but I'm fairly certain non-resort guests are not supposed to use the pools of other resorts.

If you will not go over the occupancy of the villa, you can add them to your room for the stay and get them a parking pass. If they are too many to add, they really cannot swim at the pool with you because they will not be resort guests. How about a water park for swimming?

I know that depending on the time of year others have asked at the front desk if there day vistors could use the pool with them and were told yes. I'm sure it depends on the occupancy rate, and manager you deal with. It can't hurt to ask. As long as they aren't staying at a cheaper hotel and are just trying to gain access to the better pool, they are technically not pool hopping.

If you are not doing the dining plan, you could just add them to your reservation and get key cards for them (assuming you have 6 and would then have 8 which is the limit for a 2 bedroom). If you are doing the dining plan, you can't add them without adding them to the dining plan for the entire stay.
