I knew I should have gone to DL yesterday, cuz, it could have been me, but I had something else I had to do. If I had been the 2 billionth guest and gotten that particular gift, my scream would have been so loud, everyone on this board would have heard it, even in the UK and Australia.

That makes me happy that it was at Disneyland though. A young school girl too that will really get a lifetimes use. Very cool.

From what I read elsewhere the "2 billionth customer" was a honorary title only. The 2 billionth person may have entered yesterday, but they randomly selected her family from the ticketing area prior to entering the park and pulled them backstage to sign the papers, then off to the ceremony at park opening. Her entire family got lifetime passes too, her parents plus her 6 brothers and sister (plus a baby brother/sister on the way) Not bad that Disney choose a family of 10 to give the passes to!!

We were there! We entered about 5-10 minutes after her. We had just taken a little longer then we wanted at Dennys, we had debated not going to Dennys and just eating at La Brea, oh the what if's that occured when I realized what we had just missed!!!

I guess even this needs some planning so they "pick" a family instead of looking at the actual 2 billionth person coming in..

The girl was from Colorado!! Where is the closest disneyland from colorado?
I think this must be a bad joke.

If I were 2billionth visitor in park I really would expect something useful. Disney
got movies and all kind of stuff to give. Oh no, we give ticket for this girl who
lives in middle of nowhere with lifetime pass to disneyland! Woo-hoo!

I really dont understand how can you envy her. If you visit disneyland about
five times in lifetime, I think you can pay for it...
