Hi-
We don't usually drive, but we will have a car on this trip. We would like to visit the Boardwalk at nighttime and also maybe pool hop. Are we charged for parking at other DVC properties?
There is no fee to park at the resorts. You can visit them, but depending on how busy they are they may not let you park or only let you park for up to 3 hours.
There is no fee for self parking, but there is a charge to valet park.
In the case of BWV, since parking is so tight there, you may be sent across the street to park in the furthest lot, or possibly turned away. Particularly during Thanksgiving holiday times. Also, pool hopping will be suspended during such busy holiday times, as well. Check the DVC Member Website for the blackout dates for pool hopping.
Lucky you! (I was going by your trip tag). We always enjoy driving over to Celebration and having a meal at the Celebration Town Tavern. They have fresh seafood flown in from Ipswich MA each day (former Bostonian/New Englander here) and it really reminds me of "home". Have a great trip!
We did this last time..it was our July trip and didnt have a problem parking, we may have been lucky though!!! Give it a try, it was nice going to the boardwalk and checking out other resorts...Pool hopping I dont know about though

A couple of years back, they even honored our Tables in Wonderland discount card when we asked if they did accept any "discounts". So never hurts to ask..
We usually go for a walk around the lake there, visiting some shops too. Very pleasant area.
