We are flying to Orlando in September to take a 4 day cruise, then going to Boardwalk Villas for 5 days. We were wondering the cheapest transportation to get us from the airport to the cruise, to the cruise to BWV, and then back to the airport. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

We had the same problem for our upcoming trip. DCL can be reasonable if there are only 2 of you since they charge per person. We are a family of 4 and decided to rent a car.

Avis has a facility right by the Port where you can drop off/pick up a car. I think many people do that. Pick up at airport, drop at Port before cruise, pick up at Port after cruise, and then drop off at airport when leaving.

We belong to National Emerald Club and will rent from them and just park the car. It was only slightly more expensive to rent the car for 9 days straight and add Port parking than it was to pickup/drop off before and after the cruise. The extra money was worth not having the hassle of multiple pick ups and drop offs.

For parties of more than 2, a towncar can also be cheaper than the DCL buses, and you can just sit back and relax. We have used Happy Limo to return to WDW for a night or two after some of our cruises. Prior to that, we had used DCL transportation, but we were put into a crowded Mears van rather than the buses.
