Haven't been to UO/IOA in over 5 years. We are planning on spending 2 days at the parks during our upcoming Orlando trip. Skipping WDW altogether. We are a family of 6 with grandparents along. Our youngest two are 4 and 6 and we have two teenagers 13/15. What do we need to know to make our two days in the parks the best of fun? Any insider tips? Where to eat? Dont miss out on shows/attractions?

TIA! :thumbsup2

I would study the Universal website (and here) to get a description of rides and a general idea of the layout. You might also find Kelly Monaghan's Universal guidebook helpful. Where you eat will depend on what kind of food your party likes. There are lots of good restaurants in Citywalk so don't forget to check there. Also, don't hesitate to split up at times. You have such a wide range of ages that it might be easier at times.

You don't mention if you're staying onsite or not. Be sure to read up on all of the resorts if you are.

Best tip? Get to the parks at rope drop and hit the most popular rides early.
