Not sure if this is the right forum but if not feel free to move but on our first full day we are not going to parks and want to go to DTD and resort hop.

My questions are is it harder to get parking at the springs now? When we went in the past before the garages we never really had a problem but I have heard some talk about it being hard. Is there better times to go? We would be going on a Saturday which I am sure is prob the worst day.

Also I want to go see some of the resorts and we are not staying onsite. If we drove up to the booths would we be able to tell them we are just going in to look around? I know we have done that in the past but it seems like we either rode the monorail or had dinner ressies and just wanted to make sure we wouldn't have any problems. Thanks!

Others can offer more info on parking at the Springs, but we didn't have an issue this October - granted it was later at night when we visited. I believe parking is much improved from what it was like during the height of construction.

I don't think you'll have any issues getting into the resorts - I would probably tell them I wanted to visit the gift shop or get something to eat.

Most deluxe resorts are also convention resorts ... So it's possible that no parking is available for additional guests (even guests with hotel reservations can be told no parking)

Valet is $25/day and seems to include "resort hopping" (tip is additional)

I've never tried it, but for MK resorts, I'd probably try parking at WL, check out their great decor, then take a boat to Contemporary and resort hop via monorail.

It depends which resorts, and when you're going. Over the holiday period, if you aren't valet parking you are unlikely to be permitted topper at a monorail resort, or BC/YC, without an ADR. If the resorts are pretty full, they hold the parking for guests and ADRs.

We are going in June so hopefully not a problem but I like the idea of parking at WL and then riding the monorail. Well boat first then monorail. Other than those the only other one I want to see is Art of Animation. Guess we will take our chances. Thanks. :)
