we don't know the layout of the area. Are the campfire area and the beach area close together? We would like to spend our first night at WDW at the campground doing the campfire with Chip and Dale and seeing the the electric water parade and fireworks from the beach. Is this possible? Is it walking distance? Any info. would be greatly appreciated! We will be there Sunday,Sept. 2nd. Thanks in advance!!

It is walking distance from the campfire to the electric water parade. Maybe a 10 to 15 min walk. It is a nice walk though. Or you could hop on a bus and it will drop you off at the marina where the water parade is.

i may be wrong but i think the bus drops you off at the settllement depot ,which is still about 5 min walk ,But with the way the bus system has changed since mothers day weekend who knows!

The bus drops you off at near Pioneer Hall (The Settlement Depot is the check in area near the enterance to FW), which is a 5 minute walk to the marina and beach area. However, the walk from the campfire (the Meadows) is not long (maybe 15 minutes), and is pleasant and relaxing.

Here is a link to the FW map which may be of help to you;
