Visiting the Bar

We haven't been to disney since COVID. Can you still visit the bars in the parks without a reservation? I know stupid question but we like to "ditch" our cousins to visit the bar at 50s primetime.

Yep but they have a certain capacity. We tried to go to the Tiffins bar and there was a worker with a tablet who put names on a list and would seat you. May be a wait. Same was for Jock Lindays in DS so prob the same at 50s PT.

Ah, the Tune-In Lounge. One of our favorite in-park bars. Unfortunately, not yet reopened.

Nomad Lounge at AK now has an Option in MDE where you can join the virtual queue. It’s nice because you don’t have to go to the restaurant to get on the list first. It would be nice to see this feature added for other lounge areas.

I don't think the 50s bar -- the Tune-In Lounge (*can't BELIEVE I know that name off the top of my head ) is open. It wasn't when we were there last month..

Like others have said, it varies by location. Tune in lounge is not open. The Brown Derby Lounge is, but not currently serving food, just drinks. Dawa Bar in AK is open, and you can join the walk up list at Nomad Lounge.

We visited the Enchanted Rose in December and really enjoyed it. Sitting out on the balcony was just wonderful and the drinks were delicious.

We were just at HS last week, Tune In lounge closed, but you can drink if you dine at 50s Prime Time.

With larger crowds starting to return to the parks I hope WDW is looking at reopening these locations still closed.

This is what we did although there may be other methods. While looking at the map of AK in MDE, choose dining and then Nomad Lounge. there will be a button that says join walk up list

I know when this bar was Mizners that balcony allowed smoking. Do you happen to recall if it still does?

No one was smoking on the balcony when we were there, and the balcony is not shown as one of the authorized smoking areas at GF.

I think Mizner's used to have cigars on their menu, and Enchanted Rose does not.
