Visiting San Francisco

DH and I are thinking of spending our 10th Anniversary in SF this May. Anyone stay at either the Fairmont or White Swan Inn?? Any feedback is appreciated.

The Fairmont is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location.

We stayed at the Fairmont last year on points. It was a very luxurious hotel; we were on a high floor with a big picture window with a view of the city and the bay. Our last night there, we ordered Asian food from room service and it was wonderful. I highly recommend it; cable car right outside the door.

We stayed at the White Swan Inn, in June, and it was just great. Breakfast was included every morning. The staff was so helpful and the rooms were so pretty. Close to all kinds of transportation. Great location. I would go there again.
