This may sound a strange question but we are coming to California in August prior to our Panama Cruise and would rather like to visit the Queen Mary while there. Do you know any tours that include this or is it possible to arrange transport and how can we find out more about this please. Queen Mary do evening tours which we rather like the sound of.
Thank you

We plan to go in June. She's at Long Beach.

At the bottom left you will see a place to click for the Queen Mary.

Im trying to figure out what it cost to go onto the ship.

Could it be free?

LOL, AAhh nope! Looks like the less expensive ticket is 23.00.
Not bad.

I know youhave to pay but just wondering how to get there from the Grand Californian Hotel as we do not plan on renting a car for this trip.

They do evening tours at 8.p.m (to see the haunted parts) and also day tours and am sure that some organisation must run tours.

I do not know about tours that will get from your hotel and back. But I do think renting a car would be less expensive. Then youd have a car for the day to see the coast or whatever.

Im sure you already tried a Queen Mary Tour search???

Taking a cab would be very expensive. Probably over $50. I agree you should look into renting a car for the day.

I agree that the best way to get to the Queen Mary is by renting a car. There are several car rental agencies in Anaheim, and you could rent a car for the day. It will probably be less expensive, plus give you the flexibility to go where you want when you want.

We once walked onto the Queen Mary and toured a self guided tour for free. They have paid tours too. My husband has done the paid tour prior t our trip adn he said they got a few places the self guided tour did not go but for the most part it was the same. I remember some self guided maps on the wall as we entered the boat.

Of course this was a while ago, but when my husband and I were in college, we would go to the Queen Mary in the evening and were allowed to walk around without having to pay. That was one of our cheaper dates, and was quite romantic.
