My boyfriend and I are going to DLP on the 7th March for 6 days. I was wondering what type of clothes I would need to pack. Will it be freezing so I will need winter coats, hats and gloves or will it be warm enough for just hoodies?
I was also wondering what the crowds/wait times are like at this time of year? Will we be able to get on the more popular rides such as crush in a reasonable wait time?
We're staying in Newport Bay and I've heard the queues for check in can be quite long. Does anyone know how long the wait to check in normally is at this time of year?

Sorry for the many questions, I'm an over planner and depending on the answers, may change my daily itinerary haha. This is myself and my boyfriends first holiday alone and I want to get as much done as we can in the time we have there. We are also doing the day tour around Paris which I'm very excited about.

I can't wait to go. 4 months today!!

we were in HNY last year in March 13-17. It was sunny, warm around 18 at day time, mornings were chilly, evenings a bit colder. But the weather did change fast - last day was very cold and rainy.

we didn't queue for more than 30mins. Casey Jr. was never less than 45min wait and autopia 60min wait. But I must say it wasn't crowded.

Thanks for your reply! :)

I guess I should pack lots of layers, that way I'll have clothes for all weather :)

Ahh :) the wait times sound pretty good. There were so many rides I didn't get to go on the last time I went so I'm determined to get them all done this time :D

my friend did get on all the rides and not just only once.

This year it went from -3 to 16 looking at the 6-12 March. That's not taking into account the wind chill which can be important over at DLP as it's exposed

In 2010 it was a lot colder start of March (-3 to 4 )as we still had the heating on

I would be wearing layers and thinking hats and scarfs for the early morning/late afternoons :)

Great :). Thank you! :) wow  -3 is pretty cold. I feel the cold a lot so I'll definitely be packing lots of warm things :)

We arrive on the 5th and leave on the 8th so will see you there x

We've had several March trips, we've only had snow once and it was bitterly cold that year.
Most of the time it's been cold, dry and sunny, only had rain once and in 2009it was beautiful, warm enough to walk around in light jackets/hoodies.
I'd say layers and especially a waterproof layer just in case. :)

Well we arrive late March and looking forward to temperatures in the mid 70's....at least in my dreams!
I have never ever worn a coat and trousers at a Disney theme park, and I am not going to change now. :)

We went this year 14-18th and it was lovely! very mild, a little bit of rain but the sun was out! only needed tights/boots and a jumper :)

Thanks for all your replies! They've been really helpful :D

Tinks: awesome :). Are you as excited as I am? haha. I'm obsessively planning atm.
