Visiting in July

We arrive in Paris on July 4. I heard schools get out July 6. Is it worth it to push through jetlag and go on the 5th? Will it be much more crowded the next week?

July 5 marks the start of a special event weekend in DLP: Electroland. We have never attended (but are going this year), so no idea about the crowd levels.

Last year we were there from the 6th till the 13th and it was full. Very full. And horribly hot. I have no idea why we are coming back this year in the same week . And yes: with Electroland it will be more crowded.
