Visiting in December

Hi all!, I am new to here but was just wondering if anyone has been to the park in December from December 14-17th. We are staying across the park at the Marriott. We have been around Halloween and now we will be going for the first time in December. Also we want to try to take the kids to the Christmas celebration. Any news about that?

For the "Christmas celebration" do you mean Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? If so, that is a separately ticketed event that you would have to pay for. If you google it you should find info about it on the WDW page. You will love the Christmas decorations at the parks. Have fun!

If you are referring to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, it is a wonderful event well worth the extra money. The special fireworks and parade are beautiful, there is snow on Main Street and special treats of cookies, apples and hot cocoa. All the characters dress in holiday attire for one of a kind photo ops. Plus, many main attractions stay open and the crowd is very minimal. We usually see ride waits under 10 minutes.
