I plan on spending a day visiting the moderate resorts - to take pictures, etc.

Has anyone ever done? The only downside is the time it will take to get from one resort to another.

I have visited just about all the resorts. I am not sure if you can drive in and park just to take pictures as I always took the bus but visiting the resorts is a great way to spend a day that isn't in the parks.

We drive to different resorts all the time, to take pictures, walk around, eat etc...

You'll want to have a car, using WDW transpo will take forever.:earsboy:

Yes, you can just drive in to visit. Just tell the security guard you are visiting. They always ask to see ID.

The only time you need to worry is New Years Eve. They get really stingy with the parking lots at the resorts around the lagoon - everyone wants to drop in just to see the fireworks.
