Visiting ABD

Hi ABD peeps! I'm posting this here because only other Disney/ABD enthusiasts will get why I'm geeking out We are in the Disneyland area this weekend after visiting Hawaii and the beautiful Aulani resort for the first time. Some of you may recall that before the Scotland trip I had communication exchanges with Bruce from ABD who was given the unfortunate task of talking me down from the trees during the "Let's all wig out about the Scotland ABD debacle of 2013." That let to a day by day, play by play trip report on what is still my all time favorite ABD vacation! During our communications, Bruce invited me to visit ABD if I was in the area sometime down the line. Today we were able to make that opportunity a reality!

It was an absolute pleasure meeting some of the fabulously talented people that make these trips a reality when we were on the DVC Danube river cruise. It was wonderful to see them again today and to finally meet Bruce in person. It's amazing what goes on behind the scenes and level of detail to make these trips a reality. Becoming and ABD guide is no easy task and they are the cream of the crop. I really enjoyed seeing the passion first hand and delight in knowing the guests enjoy these vacations.

Hahaha! No such luck. I'm waiting on pins and needles like everyone else. So 2018 will be China, unless there is some fabulous and new itinerary announced this year.
