Visas for our Cruise

Hi, can anyone who has been on a cruise to the Bahamas let me know if you needed a visa or complete forms over the net, so far I have read that we don't need them, but cannot find anything definite that says Australian citizens do not need to apply for a visa. I am hoping someone who has been through this can enlighten me.

I went to Bahamas on the carnival imagination last week and didn't need a visa, just my passport. We visited half moon cay as Nassau "isn't ready yet" but HMC was gorgeous, water was so crystal clear I normally don't swim at beaches but couldn't resist the water there. Make sure you have lots of sunscreen though, it was over cast and a bit rainy but we still got burnt within an hour.

Hello! I know this thread is from a long time ago but just wondering how this ended up? Did you need a visa in the end for the Bahamas? We're going in February and can't find a definitive answer on the visa issue from the Internet.

I hope not as we are going in January and haven't got any! My very thorough travel agent (Aussie agent) didn't mention it and she just went on the Dream, so I'm sure you don't need one.
