Hello,

I am going to WDW in september with my DH and pals.

DH and I already have passports so thats fine, but after having a disney night on Friday it was highlighted that our pals didn't have passports!!! (I had asked them about this and thry thought they had)

Anyhow they are going to apply for new passports this week, my questions are:

1) Do they need to get visas?

2) If 'yes' then do they ahve to go to London to get them or can it all be done through post etc?

3) If 'yes' does anyone know how much this costs?

Thanks in advance everyone!!!

No need for a US visa as current UK passports comply with the Visa Waiver. But if they have never had a passport before then new UK rules may mean an interview to obtain a passport. Best check with them if they have passports but expired or not ever had one.

Claire ;)

Only caveat to that above is that no visa is required as long as they are permitted to travel under the visa waiver programme.
(Hopefully they have been really good or really bad so we don't open that can of worms again :) )

If they need a visa you have to attend the US embassy in person, cost is $131 I think + police certificate cost £??

£72 for passport, you can apply online here, its pretty simple.
