I read here a while ago that there was a special place in Epcot ( i think near innoventions) where you could get a free picture with a character if you had the disnet visa card. I was wondering if anyone knew the times this was on?

I wrote down that it's at the Character Connections in Innoventions West daily from 1:30-4:30. Don't know if that's official but apparently that's when I'm going. :rotfl:

Okay, here's a dumb question - I'd like to do this with my kids (we tried to do it once before, but I had left my Disney Visa back in the room as I had my room card for charging). Anyway - I never bothered to switch my card from a Bank One to an actual "Chase" card when Chase bought out Bank One. I know it's technically "Chase", but will they turn me away (iow - will the person checking the ID be trained to know that Bank One is Chase)?

To me, the answer is obvious - but, I was just wondering because I will not have enough time to call Chase and ask them to replace my card with one of theirs (I do have my eye on the Tinkerbell one though)...

Has anyone been in the same predicament? Thanks...

I just got a Disney Visa, and would like to know where you can find the details on the benefits at. All my info. that came with the card is very vague.

fanofdisney - The info that I provided (above, or is it below) was a direct "copy and paste" from the Disney Chase website. If you sign in at www.chase.com, you can see the offers by selecting "View Disney Offers".

FinallyBoughtDVC - We took advantage of the opportunity last year. Ignoring standing in line... it all starts with handing your Disney Visa card to the Cast Member. It is my belief that as long as the card says Disney on it they'll accept it. I'd check with the CM before standing in line.

We did this just last week. It's not actually at the character connection, but jsut across the "breezeway" in innoventions. Any of the CM's at the character connection can point you in the right direction.
As for wating in line... there was no line. We just walked up, showed them our Disney Visa card and were ushered in to the room. We spent about 5 minutes with the characters & were given our voucher for the free pic.
They took a bunch of photos (all of them available on your photopass card) and you go to choose the one you wanted printed.
Worked out great.
Lemme know if you have any other questions.

Is the Disney Meet and Greet near the Character Connection? Or IS it the Character Connection? Or are they not by each other at all? :confused3

TIA~

ETA: Just saw extreme8's post above mine. Good info to know. :thumbsup2 Thanks!

Remember when they sent the thing saying they were sending new cards and you could choose the one you wanted? That's when it switched.

It said if you didn't choose, they'd just send whatever picture they wanted.

Did you get new cards then?
