After taking a look on mousesavers, it appears that the Disney Visa discount was almost as steep as the AP discount. Poly was 239 vs 229.

Does the Visa really offer those huge discounts?

If so, I would consider getting the Disney Visa and AP's for a possible Sept/Oct trip. Hopefully have a better chance at getting a greatly reduced rate having both.

Thinking about Poly over BC this trip - or maybe a split. Never stayed at Poly.

Thanks.

Yes the visa does give u discounts. The visa was started around the time the disney club ended. But in best value for money the AP is the best if you plan on staying roughly 8+ days. I have both. First i booked with the visa then when AP's came out i changed to the AP rate!

Don't know about the deluxes.
But it was worth buying an AP for a 6 night stay for three rooms at a mod. Saved us $100 per room over the Dis Visa rate.

If you apply before March 31, you can get the stay for 7 pay for 4 deal. (Includes room AND Ult. PH tickets.) (Must book by April 30. and travel ny Oct31).
That's even a better deal than the room only rates, and you could get i now instead of waiting for new codes.
Scroll down the list to see lots of info about the 7 for 4 deal.

That sounds pretty good.

Could I do a 14 for 8 deal?

It seems that Disney has shifted the sweet benefits that used to come with the now-defunct Disney Club, over to the Disney Visa (which is cool bcs there was a yearly fee to belong to the Club but none for the Card).

Furthermore, having been a Disney Visa Cardmember since it was first issued (last year), the customer service has been excellent. Apparently, BankOne (who administers the program and the credit card) gives the Disney Visa customer support folks extra training; I hope they pay them more too, bcs all of my interactions with them have been resolved promptly, efficiently and to my satisfaction (and there were some complicated ones too).

If I were to keep only two credit cards in my wallet, the Disney Visa would be one of them (but I also don't go anywhere without my Amex ;)).

Oh, and I don't work for either BankOne or Disney.

This makes me wonder if I could get this deal(7 for 4)...
