How good are these meet and greets for the visa premier cardholders
if we do these, is there any point in seeing the same character in the park meet and greet?

We had better character interaction at the Character Spot.
We first tried the Visa Meet early afternoon and the line was about an hour long so we came back near close and it was just a few minutes. We got in line at the camera shop to get our two free 5x7 photos. The line was very slow with people viewing a weeks worth of vacation photos and getting them printed. Next time, I would meet the characters if the line was not long and wait and get photos at home where we can order a 5x7 print for $1.29.

We have had really good experiences. NEver a wait of more than 10-15 minutes and always had Mickey and Minnie. Once we had Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. The free pic is a nice perk, but we got great shots. Enjoy your trip. All the best.

We had a great experience, too. Waited about 15 minutes, and the kids were able to play the video games nearby while I stood in line. My oldest was excited to see Pluto, as he's one of her favorites. When he noticed her jumping up and down sayin ghis name, he came over and started dancing with her while Minnie (who was also there) clapped along. Really great pictures! We never picked up the free 5x7, but we won't miss it.

We have done this on each of our trios and have really enjoyed it. Yes, you can see the same characters somewhere else but it's always been nice to have a little time with them just with us there. We have always gotten really cute shots of our family.

we do it every time we go. you never know which character you will be seeing. One time we saw mickey, minney, pluto and goofy. a few times it was only pluto or goofy. many times it was two of them. You can ask them to take as many pictures as you want with their camera and yours. The one thing I hate about it is the lighting is not that good. I seem to always get a yellowish color in the background. If you do do this, don't wait until park closing to go and get your pictures. the lines are horrendous.

We had mickey and goofy. about 20 min wait. definitely agree with the pp, don't wait til the end of the night to get your print, very long lines. The cm who was outside of the meet and greet told us we could get the print on another day, or at a different park, but it was our last day so we had to wait. Now we know for next time to do that on an earlier day. It was also nice that you can add borders and autographs to the print.

We did this twice on our trip last month. The first one was Minnie and Pluto, and we got lots of hugs from Minnie and hugs and "licks" from Pluto. Minnie noticed my Mickey Mouse earrings, and I told her, "yes, that's your man!"

The second time, we got Mickey and Goofy. I was so excited because my 80 year old dad was with us for that one. He's the one who started us going to Disney (well into all our adulthoods, actually), so it seemed perfect to me that Dad would be able to meet Mickey. :)

We waited only about 10 minutes the first time, 5 minutes the second. Such fun!

This is true. I always go before the fireworks because the lines are better. My wife and the kids holds the spot and I run over, get the picture, then go meet them.

We've done this a couple of times and have always had a good experience. I have never bothered with getting the photo though. We had photo pass cd per purchased and they just put all the photos onto that.

I must be hitting this at all the wrong times. I have tried at various times of year, and various times of the day, and I have never encountered a short enough line for this. The lines has always been 20 minutes plus.

You won't know who the character is until you get there. Also remember to go pick up your photo... I thought it was going to be in my photopass collection (to get the print my mail) but I was wrong.
