Hi
I am hoping someone can advise me, my husband and I have visited florida on numerous occasions and as he is was not a british passport holder he always had to apply for a visa, he now has his british passport and normally would be able to travel on the visa waiver but he was involved with the police but received a police caution, no court appearance or finger prints taken but to be on the safe side he applied for his subject access form (which was blank) and booked a appointment at the embassey. At his interview he was asked what had happened with the police and was told he didn't need to get a visa but as he had paid for it before his interview they would issue it but when it finished he could just travel on his british passport. So my questions are should he travel on his foreign passport as this visa is in it or just travel on his british one? I don't want to get to immigration and they know he was issued with a visa and why is he not travelling on it?
Do they know this information?
Although he has never been questioned about his visa as it has been because of his foreign passport I would be worried they would now know he had been involved with the police.
Also if he travels on his british passport this year, this would be the 1st time entering on it and would the previous visits be logged as entering on a different passport? Would this cause any problems?
Sorry for all the questions but it is worrying me even though they said at the embassey he could travel on the british one.
Thanks in advance
