Virtual Valentine's Day 5k and 10k - If interested please post

I'm totally in! I couldn't participate in the Turkey Trot in November, because I injured myself during my long run on the Sunday before, so I'm totally excited to do it this time! I'd probably do the 10K distance to make it more of a "Sunday long run."

Also, being my own RD, I have decided to allow dogs on my course, which means that even my chubby Shepherd has to participate. Oh man, I'll take pictures.

Sounds great! I'd like to be in for the 10k, but reserve the right to peel off at the Polynesian (remember back when the wdw full and half were the same day on the same course, so you could decide to switch to the half from the full at the Pluto parking? Boy, I am glad they took that option away from me!) and make it a 5k.

I'm in for either one. And maybe those of us with a GPS should post our race routes when we're done. Not to compare times or anything. I think it'd be fun to see where everyone else lives and runs.

My goal would be a 10K. My gym is closed on Sundays so as long as the weatherman promises me something I can run outside in then I'll be a go

Count me in too. I'd do a 10K if given the choice but would be happy with a 5K too. I also love the idea of picking a romantic spot and taking pictures.

Thank you so much for starting this! I would love to participate. 5K for me. Might just have to run it down the Las Vegas Strip.

What would be more romantic than the fountains of the Bellagio and the Effiel Tower. As long as I dodge the people handing out the call girl playing cards and the picture taking tourists, I shoudl be fine.

I'd like to be in on this too. I'll probably do a 5K that day- just because it's not my normal running day and DH will just be getting back from his business trip a couple of days before so I won't want to be gone too long!

I think this is a really fun idea!
