Virtual Queue in Nov

Hi-- we go to HS nov 19 this year, and with the new Genie app, do we still log in at 7am to try and snag a spot in the virtual queue pods? Or do I need to buy the genie thing to try and get in RotR?

Rise of the Resistance no longer has a virtual queue. You can either wait standby, or pay $15 per person through the app.

Editing to add - you can just purchase ROTR - you do not need to purchase the full Genie+ access.

ROTR is not available at all with Genie+. You would have to buy the individual LL if you wanted to skip the line. This can be purchased the day of at 7am if you are staying at a Disney resort. Otherwise, you can purchase it when the park opens.

We waited in standby the day ILL started. 135 minutes. We didn’t hear any complaining. I think people are just glad to have the chance to ride it.

The attraction breaks down a lot. We were on the ride when it broke down and we got evacuated. They gave us a recovery pass in our mde. So we also got to also experience the lightning lane. It definitely cuts down on the wait time.
