No, we are not VA natives. My DH was military and we were stationed there. We did buy a house and lived there for a couple of years after he retired from the Navy. He was able to get a better job here so we moved to Georgia.

This seemed like a good place to start - I'm a SW VA native (Wytheville) and went to school in Charlottesville - currently living in NC. We're only a couple hours from "home" but we do miss VA; we forget how majestic the mountains and scenery are there. And we miss the snow!

Welcome to the Dis!! I'm glad to hear your back! My family just moved to VA last July and I go to college here. I love VA , but not as much as Florida. They should put "Virginia is for Mouse-Lovers" on a t-shirt hehehe

Well on the
Creative Board, I know a lady that could easily DESIGN a shirt like that.

We have 2 Fla trips planned. June 13-20 Doing the Busch Gardens, Sea world Circuit as we have never been . Since we have Annual passes at Busch here in Williamsburg.. THAT makes for a Cheap Vacation.

August 16-20 is Disney and staying at OKW for the first time. I rented some points from a friend of mine. We may go down a couple of days early and stay elsewhere then move.. Still thinking about that one. Unfortunately I can't use the free dining

Sounds like fun! I love Busch Gardens in Williamsburg - I'm really excited that my familly can now get annual passes at a discount because we are residents. The last time I went to Busch Gardens in Florida was when I was really little so I don't really remember much about it, but I'm sure you will have a wonderful trip! You will be in Florida at the same time as us - we are going June 14th to the 24th. I have never stayed at OKW, but I would love to try it someday. It looks so relaxing and peaceful! Hopefully you will be able to go a few days early and enjoy the magic even more! Why can't you use the free dining? I thought it started on the 16th.

So you are going to Disney in June ?? Cool. We MIGHT buy an Annual Pass again and go 1 day in June but we will most likely wait.

The reason we can't do the free dining.. We are Renting Points for our OKW Stay. Dining is based on your Room nights... we are off the Disney Radar. IF we were DVC'rs and had an Annual Pass I think we could swing it... but I'm not sure about that.
Even If I buy tickets from Disney... I have been told I can't get the free dining. So now I'm gonna have the extra people with out the Ability of having the free food.

Hi.. I love this place. Which I could remember what my OTHER DIS NAME WAS I had several hundred posts.. Then got busy and forgot to log in for a while... Did not help that I had a major computer crash and had to start ALL OVER

I am guessing you FLY to Disney since you live near a "REAL" Airport or three
