Just a word of warning DON'T ever ring Virgin.
The hold music is awful, and felt it my duty to warn my fellow disney fans!! Unless you are immune to the worst music ever don't call!!!I've been on hold for over 20 minutes now, and the only thing keeping me sane are the posts on these boards.

Just thought I'd try and waste a few minutes! Does anyone know of a secret, magical way to get them to answer the phone!!

I hope you got through in the end. I love ringing Disney Dining when they put you on hold its good music. I had the Tikki, Tikkie room LOL

Obviously ringing them takes just as long as getting an e-mail reply from them. I sent them an e-mail the other day and have not recieved anything back! but the hold music is better the info i wanted was not really important but i still think they should be a little more helpful not a good start, i am not ringing them if the music is bad

Well I gave up at 12.00, I was hungry so I went to get lunch!!

Tried again about 20 minutes ago, and still got the 'we are currently experience high call volumes please go to the website' SO I did and went to the 'contact us' link and they have a list of phone numbers, depending what your query is, and a number just for Florida bookings, so I call and got straight through!! Very nice man he was too!!

PTUK I would ring the number I just did, I'm assuming it is a Florida query. If so call 0870 220 2468. You have to do the press one for... and then again press one for... and then I got answered straight away!

I like Virgin again! And my boyfriend gets to live! (Was having heart attacks this morning cause I got a statement saying balance is still due, boyfriend said he'd posted cheque, but it is all good he did and the balance is nil ) Only 8 weeks and one day til we go!!! Yippeeee

KayleeUK, I would have loved being on hold if it was disney music, although I think I may have started to sing eventually, which would have cause some funny looks from my co-workers!!! But then again it probably wouldn't they all know how excited I am about going!

Don't talk to me about Virgin's customer services

They messed our booking up - AGAIN - and we had a similar letter advising us weeks after paying the full balance that we still owed them money.

To cut an extremely long story short, I spent so much flipping time on the phone waiting to speak to someone at Virgin I was singing their hold music in my sleep. Joking aside, I'm fed up with the cavalier attitude of their staff - "not my fault", "don't know why they promised you someone from here would ring back, not me" . . . . I could go on, but won't bore you with it all.

What really gets me fuming is that you're holding on the phone to tell to get them to sort out a problem which you've not made - and you're holding on for at least 15-20 mins each time, at national rate telephone charges

Suffice to say I've sent a two page letter to Virgin telling them exactly what I think of them

They've had huge amounts of our money this year - Florida next month and St Lucia back in May - but they're gonna have to do something pretty spectacular to make me book for St Lucia with them again next year

Mrs Dazzle, I'm so sorry to hear they keep messing your holidays up. I would definatley complain, you have every right too. I hope you sort everything out. And have a fab time next month!
