Hi everyone,

I have a question - we've booked our wedding through Virgin in the UK and so they are acting as the go betweens between us and Disney. I don't think we get an EM until 4 days before our ceremony as we're having the intimate package.

We've had some forms to fill in about the cake, flowers and music and it mentions the portrait sessions, but no prices or how to book one! The forms don't have to be back until 10 weeks before the wedding - which seems rather late to me to be booking a portrait session.

So I mailed Virgin a couple of weeks ago asking them to check availability for me and prices - but have had no response! I don't know whether to call Virgin or try and speak to the Disney Dept direct.

Has anyone else booked their wedding through Virgin - or booked a portrait session direct?

All help gratefully received :confused3

Rosiejo,

I personally didn't book through Virgin but I was chatting a few weeks ago with someone who did. She said everything went wonderful! No problems at all.

I hope that helps!

Lori

I got married last year with VIRGIN AND EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC, i did worry quite alot before we got to florida, as hard to plan when not in same country, but when we met the wedding planner she sorted all the last minute things out and even booked the reception at planet hollywood which was very good value for money, and made me feel very special. I'm sure you and anyone getting married, will have a wonderful day. :flower: 25 days till AKL

photo sessions are booked seperately anyway. I'm having a custom wedding through Disney and I had to book my own MK Portrait Session. Here's the # if you want to call and ask a few questions 407-827-5099

We have booked through Virgin, but our Disney co-ordinator e-mailed us months ago. Most additional stuff has been dealt with by her.
I would recommend that you get your forms back to Virgin well in advance of the 10 weeks as we had to resubmit them (apparently they didn't arrive by post so I e-mailed scanned copies).
Virgin have been a bit hit and miss, but the Disney co-ordinator has been the safety net !

We fly out on Monday, so will report back on our return.

The OP was written back in February. Im sure that I read somewhere on here that she has now booked it.

Hi Rascal - good luck for that ceremony - please report back and let me know what it was like :Pinkbounc

I've got my portrait session all sorted and sent my pack back to Virgin a couple of weeks ago. We're going to do our phtography and video through virgin on the recommendation of another DIS member.

Not long to go now :cheer2:
