Virgin Transfers??

We have selected the Virgin transfers on our upcoming trip with Virgin, do they use buses from the airport to the hotel and back or do they use a taxi?
How do they organize the return journey as our return flight is 6.30pm and we have to check out at 11am?
This is our first time using this service and in the past we have always been picked up at an arranged time and place by either a shuttle bus or Mears minibus taxi. We are not doing the "reps meeting" so we need to know in advance how this works. Many thanks

They use coaches to drop you at the hotel, you may drop off people at another hotel first but it doesnt take long, quite often they use Disney coaches which are lovely.

On the way back you are given a time to be picked up at from the hotel by a Mears shuttle, if you want to do DTD check in then they give you a number to ring so that you can arrange a later pick up from there, it just gives you more time on your last day. If you don't want to do DTD check in then you can store your bags at the hotel but you will get picked up pretty early.
We always do the chek in and then spend our last day at DTD looking round the shops and Disneyquest.

Thanks for the quick reply Do you know if we will be given the 'phone number when we arrive at MCO by someone from Virgin, or, will they leave a "telephone message" in our room to ring them the day before we leave to arrange pick-up? We have had the latter on previous trips and it's always been a reliable way of doing things. Will we need some kind of confirmation number or anything to prove we have this booked?? I'm a worrier and a planning freak so I just want to find these things out before we go LOL.

You will be given a letter, when you get all your documents before you go there are vouchers for your hotel, transfers and DTD check in. When you get to MCO you will be shown to the Virgin desk where they will take one of the transfer vouchers and then give you the info for pick up. If you want to change to DTD pick up you just ring Mears a couple of days before and give them your name, flight number and number of people in your party and they change it. Its all really easy so don't worry!

Thanks for the reply we were unsure how it all worked being new to the Virgin service,LOL . In the past we've landed at Sanford and received all the info at the desk of the TA company we used and then sent to the transport company at the airport which were partners with the TA.Some gave us contact details only some gave travel coupon/checks and a phone number to ring the day befor departure but stated we had to ring by 1pm local time. It's great to know that the Virgin service is organised
