Virgin SALE now on!

Yes - having monitored flights for November for a few weeks they dropped about £90 today so we took the plunge and booked - got a miles plus money flight for £386 from Manchester for weekend departure - very pleased. Still -prices have gone up significantly since last year and in my opinion service has declined - but services from Manchester have been cut by providers so there's little choice.

Well, that explains a lot!!!! This morning our PE Gatwick/Orlando seats were £1760, now they are £1030. However, we're gonna go Manchester/Orlando because those have gone down to £812!!!! :O

British Airways have a sale on too,
ironically the dates i have booked are £20 cheaper, day before and after it is £60-80 cheaper

:confused3 oh well, at least im going, and im happy with what i paid (hotel & flight wise)

It seems to only be the English flights. But then Virgin don't fly from Scotland save for a few specific peak dates during the Summer months.

Well, after all that we ended up going to Gatwick after all! By the time we'd added everything in (and continually fluctuating prices!), Gatwick was coming up just £300 cheaper. We decided all the hassle of travel and 4+ hrs on tubes and trains there and back was just not worth it! So it's LGW to MCO as usual for us!

Bonus is, the return flight is S class, so there's hopefully the potential to upgrade using points :D

Well I'm glad I cut my losses with Virgin and gave up waiting on the sale - didn't cover my dates anyhow!
