Virgin Reps & Villa Keys???

I have touched on this in other threads but thought I would do a seperate post in case someone knows the answer.

We are renting a villa at Lindfield Reserve through Virgin but are doing so part way through our holiday. Does anyone know whether we meet the rep at the villa complex to collect the keys or if we go back to the airport? Also what is the latest time that you have gained entry to a virgin villa?

(We will be coming from Universal studios and just wondered how it would work?) - thanks alot for any advice!!

In the villas we have stayed in - and I must say that these were not Virgin Villas - there has always been a key box at the front door that is code operated. The villa owner emails us the code prior to leaving the UK, along with the villa address (very handy) and directions from the airport.
I don't know if it the same with Virgin but the system seems to work well so it would make sense if it was similar.

that sounds a great idea to me and would make things alot easier. We could then get there at any time.

Although someone has warned me to arrive reasonably early, so that I have time to check the villa and make sure i'm happy - so that if there is any problem I can still speak to a Rep. Is there anyone that has experienced a dirty or badly maintained virgin villa??

If you have booked your villa through virgin, then you will probably have to go to their offices, which I think are at Davenport Lakes. The rep when you arrive will give you the details to the office. HTH

We're doing something very similar - we're going for 3 weeks; week 2 starting in a virgin villa. You get the keys from the Virgin Villa Centre between 4 - 7pm. I have rang the Virgin reps in Orlando (a very useful service and fab friendly reps!!) to ask if the keys can be picked up before 4pm as we're already in Orlando. The answer was a very polite no. But if you turn up promptly at 4pm you will be ahead of most the UK flights, so it should be fairly straight forward. Hope that helps!

Hi the Virgin Holidays office is on US27 about 1 mile from the junction by the entrannce to Davenport Lakes estate and is very easy to spot from the road.

You get the keys from the Virgin Villa Centre between 4 - 7pm.

Update - the centre is open until 8pm and if you arrive later they leave info in a secure locker.

Hi - we've not been before, so you will be there before us!! Please do a trip report and let me know what they're like - fingers crossed they seem to be in a good location so thats good news at least!!
