Virgin Miles + Money - worth it?

I ask because annoyingly, Jack and I both have 7333 points.

Which is just short of the 7500 needed to get a miles+money rate on PE flights.

What we can do is pay £30 each for an additional 1000 miles.

Do you think it's worth it?

Depends what the savings are for the flight you want.
For our dates in August P/E varies between £1,188.49~£1,338.49pp
Miles and Money for any date around there is £1,055.49
If you work on the lower days you are saving £266 for 2 people, fly on teh dearer days and you are saving £566/couple.
Probably worth paying £30 to get the discount but keep in mind its costs you all your miles and you don't gain any on your new flight. If the saving is small then not worth it.
