I've noticed recently that Virgin have some good offers on in PE at the moment, and after a quick check the flights i am booked on are £556 return (very good price i think).

Now this is where it gets a bit confusing!

I have already booked M+M at £389 in economy, and would now really like to fly in Premuim as the deals are to good to turn down.
Is this possible to pay the difference and upgrade or is the M+M non up-gradeable or do i have to use up 7500 miles and pay the difference, or do i phone up and beg and plead if neccessary.

Hope you understand the obove and i know that at least one of you will have the answer

Yes (I think!)

Tickets are non refundable. However changes may be possible at applicable charges.
Date changes can be made at a charge of GBP 50 per ticket per change, the original booked class must be available and maximum/minimum stay requirements must be adhered to.
Upgrades to revenue fares can be made at a charge of GBP 50.
Upgrading to a higher Miles Plus Money cabin can be made at a charge of GBP 50. The difference in fare will also be applied as well as the difference in mileage, e.g. 7,500 - 2,000 = 5,500 Flying Club miles will be debited from the Flying Club member’s account for an Economy to Premium Economy upgrade.

All travel is subject to Virgin Atlantic’s Conditions of Carriage.

i dnt no about virgin even tho i work for them so i should lol but were goin with tc and they let us ug from the middle on to pe and just added the extra

What obi said is righ, its a £50per person charge for changing the tickets. Plus the difference in miles so an extra 5500 plus the differenc in cost!

Thanks for the replies.
Obi, you are right.

i suppose if there is one thing to learn here:

Book the type of seat you want 1st time to save extra hassle

cheers everbody for your answers

I booked my tickets with M+M .. I phoned last week to see how much it was to upgrade my tickets and i got an upgrade for our return flight for 4 of us, for 11,000 miles and £204 no mention of an ammendment fee. ( guess i was just lucky) :cool1:
