virgin luggage weight

can i say sorry in advance for this question, but just when i read in the virgin brochure about the luggage allowance i think i understand it then i read it again then im not sure.
Are you allowed 2 x 23kg each - so thats 1 case at 23kg then another at 23kg so all together 2 at 46kg??
thanks we just got back from disney 2 weeks ago and we flew with first choice and weve never been with virgin.What do you think of virgin?

Hi ,
Each passenger is allowed 2 cases - maximum weight of each 23kg .
They are really strict about this too , no case can be heavier than 23kg.

Baggage for economy passengers can be over 23kg but there is an extra charge upto 32kg which is the absolute maximum.

You are allowed to take 2 cases per person whichj can weigh up to 23kg for each case.

Alothough you are allowed upto 46kg in total if either case is over the 23kg you will be charged excess on that case.

PE is allowed 2x32Kg
UC is allowed 3x32Kg

32 is still the abolute max for an one bag.

Virgin have always been very good with luggage allowance. We flew out here last Friday for 24 nights, 3 of us with 1 case each, all weighed 19kg each and that included about 4kg of sweets and shortbread for our American friends. I complain bringing 1 case each, I am sure we could cut down to 2 between 3 of us.
