Howdy all...

I have spoken briefly with Virgin themselves re. this, but I would like to ask about the experience of you lot, since y'all are so knowledgeable:)

Once you arrive, and are checked into the hotel, at around 5 or 6pm (or a bit earlier if t'other 1/2 has secretly booked PE seats and we get through a bit quicker:p )...what then? Where are the usual places to collect tickets/passes from (we've booked ours as we wanted to pay for as much up front as possible) and do you have to go to an induction/rep meeting?

Obviously, we want to get all these things out of the way asap.

And what's the normal procedure with the character breakfasts? We get one as part of the 10 WP.

Sorry about all the ?s...just too excited...less than 90 days to go now!:hyper:

Hi and welcome:wave2:

If you have pre-booked your passes with Virgin you will need to go to the welcome meeting to pick them up.As you will wake up very early for your first morning there, you can go to an early meeting,I think they start about 8/8.30am,so as not to waste much time. The meeting is at Downtown Disney and is a great place to visit anyway so won't be a wasted journey.

With the 10 day ticket you can pre-book your character breakfast with a normal reservation,it is called a priority seating (PS) reservation.Call WDW dining on 001 407 939 3463.You just hand your voucher in when you turn up for your brekkie!

Hope this helps a bit:yo-yo:

We booked our 10 Day tickets with Virgin for our trip last September and we DIDN'T have to go to the welcome meeting to pick them up.

You will get a paper voucher for the 10 Day pass and the character breakfast with your flight tickets through the post. All you need to do then is at the first park you visit, go to the ticket booth and they will exchange the vouchers for real tickets.

For the character breakfast you have to take the paper voucher for that to Guest Services in Animal Kingdom (don't ask me why, I think it's mad) and they will give you the actual card vouchers for the breakfast which you just give to the server when you get to the breakfast.

For our first evening, we usually just unpack, have a quick bite to eat and then are so tired we hit the sack and rise bright and early next morning.

HTH, if you have any more specific questions re booking with Virgin don't hesitate to ask. :D

Hi all...

That's really useful, thankyou all!

Re. 5-day Flexiticket...do we pick this up at the first park we come to?

And HTH? This is an abb. I haven't seen yet...and I can't find that list to tell me what they all mean! :hyper:

Thanks again all.

I would imagine it would be the same for the 5 day flex ticket, but I would ask someone else to clarify that as I haven't used that ticket myself.

HTH = Hope This Helps :D

Thank you Kaylee and Maz...

Thanks to all for the help...it's great to be able to ask all those questions you feel a bit daft asking...and in 14 weeks time, I can come home and help those who have never been:)

I'm sure that in the meantime, I'll think of a few more things to ask.

Night night for now...

Those of you in snowy areas this week, take care:wave2:
