Our Virgin, FlyDrive E-tickets arrived yesterday :woohoo:

To save me trawling the website could anyone confirm the luggage allowance please?

It seems to say 23kg on the tickets but I thought it was 2 x 23kg.

Anyone travelled with Virgin recently?

Thanks :grouphug:

Baggage Allowance
Baggage allowance (23kg per person on South African, Australian and Asian flights and 2 pieces up to 23kg per piece per person on Transatlantic and Caribbean flights on board Virgin Atlantic). IMPORTANT - The weight allowance of the 2 pieces cannot be combined. All indivisual pieces exceeding 23kg will be charged as excess baggage), plus one piece of hand baggage (5kg) for essential items only. If you are flying with another airline please check the baggage allowance as it may differ from Virgin Atlantic. Excess charges will apply if you exceed the allowance permitted; please check with the applicable airline for more details

Thanks :)

That's what I thought.
It won't be a problem on the way out but will dictate what we buy on our travels ;)

Thankfully what we leave and throw away is then replaced with new things so bring back roughly what we took, very rare we go above 23kg/person
