Virgin Fly Drive

CAn you book a Virgin Fly Drive and not pick up the car? Sounds crazy but the fly drive prices for December are about £200 cheaper than the normal price on Virgin Atlantic. However, the ectra cost for the insurance works out more than booking the car through usrentacar.co.uk. So my idea was to just get Magical Express from the the airport as usual and pick my car uo the next day at Disney Car Centre. Also, does anyone know ifyou can see earn flying club miles from Virgin Holidays.

I know that you don't have to pick up their car as we have done it but I don't know about being able to take ME as well? I have never found the "free" car cheaper than doing it myself,how they manage to get away with it I'll never know!

We can definitely book ME as we do that direct with Disney every year, nothing to do with Virgin.

Yes, you can do exactly what you're suggesting - that's what we have done for our last 3 trips to WDW!

Yes you can, we will be doing this next year. Just don't tell VA that you won't be using the car - they will charge you £30 pp!!!

If you book online at the moment you get a 10% discount and due to a glitch in the system it doesn't ask you what car/car insurance you want - you have to phone them up afterwards to confirm this. Perfect if you don't want insurance!!!

If you do speak to them and they try to get you insurance, just explain that you will be arranging your own which will be acceptable to Dollar.
