Virgin flights booked through expedia

After searching for flights for next august i finally found a good deal and wanted to share as i know a few of us are going out roughly the same time.
We could only go direct, i have three young children so indirect was a no, no!
There are five of us in total 2 adults 2 children and an infant.

Total cost of flights: £1,488.08 with expedia, same flights with virgin direct £2,029.30

My question is can we still request child's meals and seat allocations? I tried logging onto my booking on the virgin site but was unable to amend anything.

you will need to get the virgin ref from expedia to be able to log in and book seats and meals. or you could just ring them up and they should be able to find the details if expedia have transferred them to va systems already

Just checked our dates next Aug £742.40 each, £741.30 direct with VA.

Hi all, i had originally booked 4 flights with dialaflight for above date for 17 nights, was pleased withe price at the time £611.I put £200 deposit down.I have now located flights yesterday with opodo.co.uk same flights for £479!!.I cancelled with dialaflight lost £200 but all in all have saved an additional £300, e ticket already booked seats .Well chuffed, dialaflight were prepared to knock £200 off but was still cheaper going elsewhere, used quidco as well.
There are great bargains out there, i beleive opodo were showing virgin flights aug16th-3oth aug for 376.Have alook guys.

16th to the 30th. A whole 1% quidco also Nearly as good as the deal they had last year with flights and accommodation at £1800 for a family of 4 at POP
