they do a few drink runs but youre allowed to go to the galley anytime and ask for more. Although they do only have a limited supply-so could run out.
cant remember them all as we stuck to fizzy drinks but think they had-
pepsi, lemonade,oj,wine, larger, spirits. (sure someone can help with the alcohol drinks)
on the A330 they had a water fountain in the middle of the plane.
we are flying virgin in just over 6 weeks (cannot wait) and would not fly anyone else. We have flown cheaper airlines before and will not always stick with virgin - for the free drinks/ice creams etc.
wish it was a chocolate fountain now that would good!
Yes I think Virgin are the best to fly with. Tried others but come back to Virgin all the time. HATE landing at Sanford with some of the others. Also like the fact that everything is free on Virgin..
not a huge choice of drinks. You do get offered an alcoholic drink or soft drink before and with the main meal. They are very clear that water and juice is available all through the flight (often they direct you to the galley to help yourself) but if alcohol is the same I didn't realise.
Often no lager available and definitely red or white wine and gin and brandy with mixers usually available. Don't drink on flights so can't tell you if there is more choice than that.
The pretzels are gone (we never liked them anyway) and I seem to think I read somewhere that the ice-cream was now gone for economy but it was still there last year for us.

You did better than us then - we thought they had finished in 2009 as we didn't get them the last couple of trips
To be fair I think we're just unlucky as the last couple of trips we have ordered one kids meal for dd and only got one for one out of the four journeys. Shame they don't seem to have the seat number recorded. Think they just ask people if they want them and give them out on first come first served whether ordered or not.

Definately alcohol and soft drinks are available when ever you want them, assuming they have them. I'm not a complete alchy or anything but I do like a vodka and coke on the flight and usually not as soon as I sit down so tend to ask for one some time after the meal.
Usually they have:
Gin
Vodka
Brandy
Baileys
Whiskey
Larger
Red Wine
White Wine
Some flights they do run out very quickly (or do they see people drinking too much and make excuses to stop the service?) this year they had enough. previous flight they ran out about 2 hours into the flight.
pretty sure we got the sour cream pretzels in Feb and the ice cream, well actually it was frozen yoghurt because I gave it to my hubby...or maybe we didn't as been on so many flights they just seem to amalgamate into one now!
They had quite a lot of drinks on offer but I only stick to water but sure my hubby had a brandy and a larger.
