Virgin/Disney booking number ?

The Virgin Holidays booking ref is usually like 56677/S10, the last 3 characters say whether you are going in summer or winter and the year. For the Atlantic site you can usethe flight locator number but I don't know what that looks like. I wouldn't think it would be the same as a Disney ref number.

You need a completely different number - you need Virgin Atlantic's reference number - Disney may be able to give it to you.

The website is being a bit awkward at the minute - we booked three months ago for our trip next June and - despite having VA's ref number - still can't log in to manage my booking. Apparently that is because I have only paid the deposit of the holiday with VH rather than for the whole trip, and they will release my booking once I have paid for the whole holiday 8 weeks before I go - however I haven't seen anyone else saying that, so you may be lucky!

It has to be 11 months from the date you come home - i keep trying with my Virgin holiday number but its not working yet. We are due back on October 23so i am hoping it will work next week.:thumbsup2

i go next may and just contacted virgin to get my reference number the one you get when you book the package is not the one you need
its letters and numbers normally 6
am glad i did though as we go in may and were lucky to get seats together !!

We go again next September and when I came back this year, thought I had better check out the seats on the plane. I checked last night and there wasn't that many rows of 4 left so I would advise everyone to check when they can. You can find out your VA reference number by putting in your VH reference number first and details of the flight number etc on the VA site. When it recognises you, then your VA reference is given in the top left of the screen so just copy it down for next time - its definitely easier when you can use the proper reference number!

Hi Ive booked with Disney and am having Virgin Flights. Can anyone advise me if you have to pay extra to be able to log-in and choose seats together? If so what is the extra charge and do you think this is worth paying? Thanks

I just logged in the selectmy seats with VA and was able to use my VH reference number i.e. 1234/S11 - thats all you need along with the date you fly and the flight number :thumbsup2

You can log in and select seats together - but you don't have to pay for it :goodvibes

Oh yeah, its just past 12 months. . . Silly me its not 11 months.

If it doesn't work next month, I'll give them a ring =).

Thanks for your advice :]

Remember when you put your VH/Disney UK (same format) number into the VA website you have to put type it differently.

On Disney you type it as 12345-S11

With VA you have to type 12345/S11

Just in case ;)

WHen you enter the VH number it first says it can't call up your details. If you scroll slightly down and look to the left or just below where you put your details in it will ask for your flight number and departure date and some other details. It is easy to miss and think you just couldn't get into your booking if you don't know it's there, but you need to complete these additional fields to get in.

Once you do that and access your flight booking if you look at the top of the page your flight locator number will be shown and you can use that to log in in future, which will save you adding in all the extra details.

Are you going to be on one of the new Airbus flights? That might be a reason why...? Someone else might be able to provide more help - Wayne is probably the best bet! :thumbsup2

Edit: Or, I think Virgin Holidays only send VA their booking details on a certain day - Wednesday possibly. They might not have been passed over yet, depending on your dates?
