Morning

Does anyone know if you can still pay to use the Virgin lounge at Gatwick or Heathrow if you are flying with Virgin?

I flew to Orlando from Gatwick on my own last year and popped into the lounge to ask if it was possible and was given entry for a fee of £25 and I wondered if anyone else had done this more recently. I would love the opportunity to use it again later this year.

Thanks

Hannah

We use it every time we fly. It's £30 now unless you're flying UC in which case it's free - we're going PE unfortunately! I think it's well worth the money but there are a limited number of passes so you need to book in plenty of time.

I've got a funny feeling (I could be wrong) I have read somewhere they have stopped people using this (unless they are flying UC)

I am not sure though, just something I think I've read :confused3

No, next years brochure is showing it at £35 - still worth it I think - we've eaten and drank that much before!

Good, I'm glad I'm wrong Gill :)

Thanks for the info. How do you book in advance? I have not booked a Virgin holiday, just flights.

Thanks

If you have booked a Virgin Holidays Fly/drive then you would arrange it with them. If you have booked flights with Virgin Atlantic, I don't know if you can book the Clubhouse...you could call them and see.

The Clubhouse is free to Upper Class passengers and Flying Club Gold card holders.

VH passengers can book paid access via VH.

Other travellers, not with VH, can try at the airport on the day - Virgin do sometimes allow pax to purchase clubhouse access if it is quiet.

The only other way to get in is as a guest of a UC pax or Gold card holder - each is allowed one guest.

Unlike to Guesthouse at Sanford which is paid access, the Virgin Clubhouse is part of the UC offering and Virgin do not want to 'dilute' this.

Thank you for explaining. Looks like I'll have to take my chances on the day then. It was very quiet when I paid to use it last year so that is probably why I was given admittance.
