Virgin check-in at Manchester Airport

Hello,

Is it possible to check-in the night before your flight at Manchester Airport?

My Mother and I will be staying in a hotel near to Manchester Airport, and it would be handy if we could do this. It would save some time in the morning!

I know about the online check-in, but would prefer to do this in person, ideally.

Hi

I believe the Twilight Checkin facilities are only available if flying from Gatwick airport.

The online checkin seems pretty straight forward, this is the way we will be checking in for our flight in Dec.

yes i can confirm this as well, as we flew from Manchester with Virgin - you can only do this from gatwick.

You can do the "online" check-in from 24hrs to i think 2hrs prior to your flight - this will save you standing in a long line when you get to the airport.

We did the online check in and it worked really well. We didn't have to stand in line waiting. We just checked our bags in and that was that.

After you had done the on line check in did you have to print anything off?

Is there a particular place where you drop the luggage off?

How do you get airside if you haven't got a boarding pass?
