Is it just me being thick but

"Relax - this service is exclusively FREE to all 'Virgin Holidays' guests!"

I take it because i just got flights only i still come under the catogary of a "Virgin Holiday" Guest???

Wonderful 2 weeks in the Sunshine all end's tomorrow, In the 12 years i've been away not a lot as changed i'm glad to say and my Grandaughters loved the Magic ::MinnieMopluto::tinker::donald::dumbo::tigger::tink::smickey::mickeyjum

If you are flight only with Virgin Atlantic then there is a $10pp fee
If you are Flydrive or package thru Virgin Holidays then its a free service.

There are exeptions like Upper class flight only its free and flying club Gold members.

If you booked through virgin holidays then it is free, if you booked through virgin atlantic or a travel company using virgin flights then you have to pay $10 each to use it!
enjoy your last day! :goodvibes

You need to have booked flights and hotel with Virgin holidays for it to be free or be an upper class passenger.

Earlier this year we had booked hotel only with VH and assumed we would get the free check in DTD, but no :sad2: we had to pay. We tried to argue that it wasn't very clear, but to no avail

What about if you booked through Disney UK? I know its not strictly booked with Virgin, but my reference number is the same as a Virgin one and I can access my holiday details on virgin's holiday site using the ref number. :flower:

No just virgin holidays.

Not 100% positive, but I think you can still use the service, but you'd have to pay the $10 each to use it. :upsidedow

As long as you are on a virgin plane regardless if you booked with virgin holidays or virgin atlantic-you can use the DTD service, the only difference is that with VH it is free otherwise its $10 each passenger.

Is it worth paying the $20 for me to do this as we are booked with VA? wondering if online check in would be better as we are staying DVC so get free internet access? What are the queues like at bag drop?

To me no its not worth it. Done it twice and both times took about 1 hour. Tried a few times since but line have been too long, tried earlier, later and mid morning. I suspect our problem is we always return end of school hol so its busiest days of the year. Other people have no problems and think its worth it.
Last few times we have done OLCI and Bag drop, can't fault it, never had more than 1 family in front at bag drop, 5 mins max. Some people don't like to leave luggage in car all day, we don't mind.

It depends how you are travelling last October we travelled PE and the queue was maybe 10 minutes or so. However, the economy queue :scared1: believe me when I say I could nt see the end of it, honestly.

we are going PE and I don't drive so will cost us taxi fair from AKV to DTD too, from All Stars Music it cost us $12 so over $30 to check in probably won't be worth it I guess as we are going PE.

We did it in 2007 as we booked a VH package and it was free, also since it was September it was really quiet. No problems but TBH i'm paranoid and get to the airport well in time anyway so I doubt we'll bother with it again (quite happy to check-in online and leave luggage in the boot in a Disney car park until it's time to go.. Would rather have the time we would have spent doing DTD check-in doing a park or Disneyquest) Definitely wouldn't bother if we had to pay.

I don't think I will bother this year, we have to go back to our resort anyway to get ME so may as well leave our luggage there,

Is there a separate queue for PE at MCO for bag drop?
