Hadnt noticed this mentioned on here,

but untill tomorrow you get a free sat nav when you book car hire via Virgin Atlantic.
im guessing most people are not going to need one, but because im planning on heading over to Sarasota, and im going solo, it makes life a little easier.

Hi did you book this? It's just that the offer is still on, which makes them cheaper than anyone else for me. I have not booked a holiday with them and was wondering if the price you see includes car hire for the full duration of your date-not one week as i think i read somewhere and all costs as in the description.I'm a complete novice regarding car hire. It will be the first time driving in August and i am petrified :scared1:I have not driven over here in years, but am taking refresher lessons and am going to get behind the wheel all the time now. I just keep having scary images of pulling out of sanford and crashing into the toll booths:scared1::scared1::scared1:

Due to the cost of transfers from Sanford it was no contest but to drive and get myself up to date, as the car hire for the 5 of us for the 2 weeks is cheaper.

hiya,
i did book it, had no problems and it included everything in the price (but fuel)
which is standard. it went via Alamo and was no different than when i used to book it via Yes Car Hire (rip.) Sat nav the few times i used it worked without a hitch.

you will be fine driving, the fact you are on the opposite side of the car helps (ie you are in the correct place on the road as the driver, instead of say when you drive your car in france) On roads the other traffic puts you in your place, the only places i felt unsure was quiet car parks like publix and the florida mall (at that point there isnt much telling you where to be.) but all the Disney and Universal car parks are pretty much huge one way systems so you will be fine.

Hi, thanks for the reassurance. Netflights come in at 323.00 for the same dates and car (suv) but no sat nav. So unless i'm planning on getting a sat nav anyway, virgin works out cheaper, than the others.Another novice question,if you go for the no petrol option, what happens regarding fuel to leave the airport?
